SANDRA NICHOLS

I start each work with a circle and see where it goes from there. I am drawn to circles like Kandinsky who thought of circles as a symbol of progression and renewal. Circles to me are also a symbol of unity and infinity, without beginning or end: perfect. My works are representative of the interconnectedness in all of nature. I have a tendency towards obsessive detail.

Sandra Nichols is an artist that has worked extensively in the art field in both museums and auction houses. She was a student of Tom Wudl for many years and has exhibited with StudioEleven and UCLA Design School.
